We Have a Roll-er!

Sam has just begun to roll from his tummy to his back in the last couple of weeks.  Catching it on video took awhile, but here he is in all his rolling glory!

3 Months Old!

Sam is 3 months old!  We're so thankful for how well he's doing.  He had some digestive problems this month and spent a few days drinking only formula, but he seems to have adjusted back to breast milk without a problem.  He's now well over 11 pounds and fits only into 3-6 month clothes.  He holds his head up well and loves to "stand" in our laps.  He still wakes up once a night to eat, but Mama hopes those nighttime feedings will soon be over.  (Which will also be a little sad.)  He has started wiggling around his crib more, so much so that we took his bumper out and have started raising the rail.  We never know how we'll find him in the morning!

Everyone we hang out with continues to comment on what a pleasant, happy little boy he is, and we couldn't agree more.  We love you, buddy!

Baptism

Sam was baptized at All Saints Lutheran Church in Charlotte on Sunday, April 15, 2012.  We were so blessed to have both sets of grandparents with us, as well as a few other family members.  Sam is well loved!  He screamed through the baptism, but otherwise behaved beautifully in church and at lunch afterward.  Jeff and Reba were kind enough to host everyone for the celebration.  It was a wonderful day!

Lest you think I smile all the time...

Sam is generally a happy baby, but he has his meltdown moments too.  This is really just a minute of fussiness, but I wanted to share it anyway, both because it's cute and because it's part of our lives these days.  Enjoy!
