12 Month Stats from the Doctor's Office

Sam had his 12 month visit at the doctor last week.  Or was it 2 weeks ago?  It was relatively recent, whenever it was.  I was hoping he would break 20 pounds, but he's just a scrawny 18 pounds, 9 ounces.  The doctor's not worried, since he's continuing on his same 10th percentile trajectory, but I'm still feeding him as much as I can.  (I need him to fatten up a little so his pants will stay up!)  He's now 30 inches long, which is still in the 50th percentile.  The doctor seems to think he's still on track to be average height when he grows up, which is pretty exciting for a Hibbard boy.  :)

While at the doctor's office, he got 3 more shots, which he handled fairly well.  It almost seemed like the weighing and exam by the doctor were more traumatic, since I couldn't hold him for those.  (He's become a little more clingy lately.)  He was slightly anemic at his 9 month appointment, but thankfully, his iron level was back to normal this time.  We're thankful to have such a healthy, growing boy!
