Vacation!

Last weekend, Joel and I sent Sam to my parents' so we could have a child-free long weekend in Charleston.  For us, it was wonderful.  It's amazing how easy it is to feed and clothe only ourselves.  :)  We slept in at our cozy B & B, ate good seafood, and saw some fun new sights.  We also FROZE because it was REALLY cold, but otherwise, it was great.  You'll have to take my word for it, though, because I forgot the camera.  Along with multiple items of clothing for each of us.  Sigh.  Here are the two pictures we took with Joel's phone at Fort Sumter:

Again, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  Sam and my parents did too!  He didn't even know we were gone, and he loved being in a new house to explore.  The most exciting part of his weekend, though, was that he took off walking.  Over the weekend, he became a proficient walker and now walks more than he crawls - mostly laps around our house.  Here's a video my mom and dad took of him walking at their house:
